The Vocation Story of Sr. Mary Concepta Bellosillo, RGS
The call is a gift and a grace indeed! A seed was planted, nourished and blossomed.
Did it bear fruit? Only God knows!
Love was the motive, Love was the nourishment. Love made it grow, Love sustained it!
“I have no gifts nor talents, but I have loved and loved with all my heart!” (St Mary Euphrasia)
There were times when that love was tested!
Holding on steadfastly in faith strengthened the fibers of my being.
The love of family, friends and the Sisters carried me on through the winding and rugged hills and the plain valleys
“Gratitude is the memory of the heart”
For the many persons encountered – the bruised, the wounded and the broken hearted.
They were the reasons for my staying on… These are God’s precious ones for me to love!
SME’s aspiration was my constant prayer, as I entrusted each one to God’s loving care
“May every beat of my heart be a prayer… to obtain grace and pardon for sinners…”
Just as the Loving Shepherd welcomed each one
Persons from all walks of life, the poor and the rich alike
So I also embraced them with love and compassion!
Many faces encountered came to mind, each encounter was for me a grace and a growth
Each person was a gift indeed and I was blessed with each of them.
The journeying through all the years, with the laughter and the tears
Were blessings I have gained that I carry till the end.
Thank you dear Shepherd God for bringing me to the fold
Together with Your beloved children where I was called and purified like gold!
