“My Heart’s Thanksgiving: All is Gift”
A joyous celebration was held last April 28, 2024 as the community joined the sisters marking significant milestones in their religious vocations. Families, partners in mission and friends came to honor our Jubilarians and to join them in their thanksgiving to God for decades of commitment to the Good Shepherd as consecrated women.

The Eucharistic Celebration, themed: “My Heart’s Thanksgiving: All is Gift!” was held at the Good Shepherd Chapel in Quezon City. Jubilarians included Sr. Mary Rose Ababao, Sr. Mary Teresita Ante, Sr. Mary Lourdes Fabia, Sr. Mary Jane Pineda, Sr. Mary Victoria Joson, and Sr. Mary Evelyn Coronel – Diamond Jubilarians; Sr. Ophelia Endaya, Sr. Clare Bagot, and Sr. Aida Casambre, Golden Jubilarians. Sr. Emma Marzan and Sr. Daisy Superable, joined in spirit, marked their Silver Jubilee this year.
In his homily, Fr. Ronald Macale affirmed the jubilarians as seasoned and models of faith and discipleship, “mga subok na” whose example we are invited to emulate. He emphasized the importance of remaining open to receive spiritual nourishment from Christ and bear “Christfruits.”
Sr. Lulu, speaking on behalf of the jubilarians, shared their collective gratitude with a quote from St. Mary Euphrasia: “Raise your joyful thanks to God for the immense gift of your vocation!” She expressed how deeply the jubilarians resonate with this sentiment, affirming their heartfelt thanks for the gift of their vocation and religious consecration. Sr. Lulu acknowledged the steadfast support of God, who has guided and strengthened them throughout their journey, and thanked their families, fellow sisters, and the communities that have nurtured and shaped their vocations.
The celebration was a testament to the enduring faith and dedication of these remarkable women, whose lives have been a source of inspiration and service to many.
