Two back-to-back H2H Explorers\u2019 Weekends were recently held at the Good Shepherd Convents in Bicol\u2014first in Virac, Catanduanes, and then in Legaspi, Albay. Both experiences revealed how faith, resilience, and openness can turn challenges into moments of grace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Virac: Embracing the Unexpected<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The H2H Explorers’ Weekend in the “happy island” of Virac took place on August 30\u201331, 2025, with six ladies and three gentlemen joining from different parts of Catanduanes. The team was composed of RGS Sisters Celeste, Virgo, Ailyn, Boots, and Lilly, with partners in mission Jing, Ma\u2019am Salome, Neri, Nida, Jenny, and H2H alumni Mavic and Jasper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The weekend was not without obstacles. One participant, Mary Grace, braved a four-hour motorbike ride just to attend. Even the whole-day power outage, limited facilities, and even the possibility of vacating the venue did not dampen the group\u2019s spirit. With flexibility and faith, the explorers pressed on and remained focus on their inward journey, listening to their hearts. Finally, the group found refuge at the Contemplative’s Convent where the sisters warmly welcomed them. A sumptuous breakfast the next day was shared joyfully sealing the community bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As Sr. Sky aptly put it after the “adventures” were shared with her, “What a journey it has been.\u201d<\/em> With joy, We welcomed our new H2H Virac Explorers Batch 1 with open hearts, cherishing the memories of our time together. The theme song of the group echoed their sentiments: embracing the journey, no matter the twists and turns. The experience was a reminder that the best journeys unfold in unexpected ways.<\/p>\n\n\n
