Sister has entered eternal life after 47 years of being a contemplative sister of the Good Shepherd on December 10, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sr Luz, who first thought of becoming a nun when she was six years old described her longing to give herself to God: &#8220;It was a deep desire which I remembered, colored my younger days, giving me courage, inspiration and initiative to study more and to bear <a><\/a>the daily routine and struggles from day to day with patience.&#8221; On her life as a contemplative, she shared: &#8220;Even as a Contemplative Sister, God allowed me to meet people with broken hearts, men and women who are desperate in life and who need somebody who can assist them. I met these<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>people personally and listened to their painful and sad stories.&#8221; Seeing how they recovered from their struggles, she proclaimed: &#8220;How marvelous the ways of our Lord Jesus the Good Shepherd!\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We thank Sr Luz for her life of prayer and sacrifice offered especially for the women and children served by the congregation.
